May 5th is known as Red Dress Day, a time to remember and honor Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people who are missing or have been harmed. On this day, people wear red or hang up red dresses to show that these individuals are not forgotten and that they matter. It is also a time to learn about being kind, respectful, and standing up for others. By wearing red, we show that we care and that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and loved.

Students and staff are asked to wear red on May 5th.
